Located on Erie’s historic Schofield Farm, our makerspace is an inclusive nonprofit
that empowers people of all ages with tools, education, and collaboration. We foster creativity, innovation, and lifelong learning in a supportive, welcoming community.
The existing quonset hut located at Schofield Farm will be renovated into a community-centric makerspace offering tools for woodworking, pottery, sewing, laser cutting, 3D printing and more. This will be a membership-based, open workshop environment. We will not have individual artist studios available for rent.
Located at 2203 North 111th Street in Erie, the Schofield Farm and Open Space Master Plan will provide a phasing plan for the development of the 75 acres of property owned by the Town of Erie. This property includes 35 acres of Erie Lake and 40 acres of the Schofield Farm.
Plans are complete and construction should begin summer of 2025. We anticipating occupancy by late 2025 to early 2026.
